Show Notes
- 0:00:06: Welcome.
- 0:00:33: Learning to make money from those that make money.
- 0:03:12: Staff member visibility.
- 0:05:49: Setting expectations from the start of the community.
- 0:08:50: Listener submissions wanted: Who was your worst moderator? See below.
Who Was Your Worst Moderator?
Who was your worst moderator? Please tell me by leaving a comment for me to read on the air or e-mailing me a text or audio comment. No specific names or sites, please. What happened? What made them your worst moderator? Let me know! Hopefully we’ll get at least a few and it’ll be a feature on a future - or the next - episode.
Questions, Feedback, etc.
I want to answer questions from listeners on the show. If you have a question or even if you have a general subject you’d like me to talk about, please let me know by e-mailing me. You can even remain anonymous, if you want. Just be sure to tell me. I will answer your question via e-mail as well as on the show, so that you don’t have to wait.
Audio Questions
In addition to questions through e-mail, I also accept audio questions. If you have a question and a mic, please record yourself, save it as a .mp3 and send it to me. Feel free to mention your site. Please keep in mind that the show is both family and work friendly, so your question and site must fit within that. But, if it does and the question fits in a show, I’ll be glad to include your audio clip in an episode.
Listener Spotlight
If you manage at least one generally family friendly community with at least 10,000 posts and you have headphones, a mic, Skype and high speed, please e-mail me. You only need to e-mail once because I add any possible guests into a pool indefinitely. Just because you e-mail doesn’t mean you’ll be brought on, but I appreciate you putting your name into the hat and I look forward to speaking with you.
Thank you for listening.

Patrick,
I have a new project forum that I am currently working on skinning. I plan on having at the bare minimum, private advertisors in the near future, and possibly some type of CPC/M advertising once traffic increases. I was contemplating having place holders in the new design, or just having inhouse ads for some of my features.
Your show has pushed me to one side of the fense, and that’s to have ads from the get-go, or at least holders.
Thanks for your show; keep up the good work.
